Rent In Edwardsville, IL

Renting SIUE off-campus housing is relatively affordable for all housing types. Of course, living alone will cause you to fork over some more dough each month as opposed to shacking up with a couple of buddies. However, if you start looking early enough, you can totally find a place that’s worth the price tag. Living with one or more roommates will help save you money each month. Surprisingly, a three bedroom house is, on average, cheaper than a four bedroom. This is due to the number of properties offered and location. Around campus, you’ll find a lot more two and three bedroom units than four-bedroom options. So for those of you with three or more roommates in mind, make sure to start looking ASAP! With that being said, Edwardsville still has a great mix of both apartments and houses of all sizes, each having unique characteristics and amenities, so be sure to check out all your options!

Here’s a breakdown of Edwardsville apartments and houses average rents per person, per bedroom:

1BR 2BR 3BR 4BR
