As much fun as getting involved on campus is, sometimes you need a getaway from school to take a day for yourself and go enjoy everything that Pueblo has to offer! Colorado is known for its outdoor beauty, so get outside and enjoy some of the popular nearby parks and trails, such as the Rock Canyon Broken Hip Loop, Stonehenge and Rock Canyon, and Skyline trails! Or you could visit Lake Pueblo, San Isabel National Forest, and the Pueblo Zoo. The Recreation Center provides CSU Pueblo students several ways to stay active and engage with one another outside of the classroom through their Outdoor Pursuits program. Connect with peers and embark on one of the several group activities and trips throughout the year, ranging from a few hours on the campus challenge, an afternoon of dog sledding,  or a weekend getaway to the Wolf Creek Ski Area.
