Winter break has come and gone and school is back in session, which means it’s time for Cal State - Fullerton students to start thinking about finding off-campus housing in Fullerton. If you’re trying to find the perfect place, make sure you start looking into housing options shortly after the spring semester begins.
Fullerton may be a big city but housing near campus fills up fast! The number of searches for off-campus housing starts to rise in February leading into March. As the spring semester continues housing starts to fill up, so don’t slack on your off-campus housing searching, like you do with starting that paper! We suggest having your lease locked down by the time you head off for spring break.

Cal State Fuller is a large campus, so you can bet there’s plenty of stuff for students to get into both on and off-campus in Fullerton! On-campus alone there’s a wide variety of things students do to stay occupied. From attending sports games to cheer on the Titans, bowling in the Union, visiting the Arboretum, or joining one of the hundreds of clubs, any student can join in on something that suits their style.

During the months of April to October, visit the Downtown Fullerton Market each Thursday at the Plaza. Right on campus, students can enjoy the Fullerton Arboretum. This 26-acre botanical garden offers a serene spot for students to spend the afternoon. For any cyclists attending Fullerton, you’re in luck! The Fullerton Loop is located close to campus. Biking, hiking, playing tennis, throwing a frisbee with friends or just relaxing at one of the many nearby parks like Laguna Lake Park, Craig Regional Park, and Hillcrest Park is popular amongst students living in Fullerton.
