Peoria is a town set in central Illinois on the Illinois River. Bradley University students have a range of activities to participate in both on and off-campus in Peoria! From joining one of the many on-campus clubs, grabbing a bite to eat or taking a study break in Michel Student Center, and joining in on some of the many Peoria State activities and traditions, it seems that nearly every student on campus is getting involved! Staying active and supporting peers is big on campus, so get your friends together and join an org, toss a frisbee or football around, or get out and explore the city.
Bradley students have a ton of options if they feel getting off campus and experiencing the city. Bradley U students can enjoy an all year arcade destination at 8-Bit Arcade or test your crafting skills at Generations Candle Company. Outdoors and Recreation at Bradley University
The expansive Markin Center is Bradley’s main place to forget about any cold weather and bring activity to your student experience. The Markin Center boasts three levels that include a 46-foot rock climbing wall, an indoor pool, four full-size basketball courts, 1/8 mile indoor track and three multi-purpose rooms. Located in the main lobby of Markin, Jerry’s Juice Bar is a nutritional pre- or post-workout dining option that offers smoothies, protein shakes, bagel sandwiches and an assortment of fresh snacks and salads.
Meinen Field offers outdoor activities and recreation when you need some fresh air. This field is a 5.7-acre outdoor sports complex located by the St. James Apartments. Complete with two-and-a-half outdoor basketball courts, a softball diamond, and a fenced-in 380 by 290-foot grass field used by intramurals and club sport teams, Meinen is the primary outdoor facility students use for recreational activities.
